Silt Fence

A silt fence is a temporary sediment control device used on construction sites to protect water quality in nearby streams, rivers, lakes and seas from sediment (loose soil) in stormwater runoff. Silt fences are widely used on construction sites in Canada, the United States and other countries, due to their low cost and simple design. Their ability to control sediment is a direct result of the quality of installation.

BWI specializes in supplying and manufacturing silt fence for civil and environmental construction projects. Our silt fence is manufactured from high quality woven PP fabric and Canadian pine wooden stakes. Our silt fencing includes UV resistance to prevent photodegrading, 3oz high strength fabric to resist tearing and high quality Canadian wooded stakes for ease of installation.
